Spacecraft Films is proud to make available this remarkable oppotunity to own all of the Apollo mission onboard film magazines at top quality - in full uncompressed HD.
Technology has proceeded to the point that we believe a number of our customers would like to have this material so that they can work with it in the highest possible quality, so we've decided to offer the material in this manner, without being limited to disc size and compression, which reduces quality and length of material.
You recieve the best quality transfer available of this historic material, in full HD along with a document featuring detailed descriptions and timings of the material contained on each magazine. This purchase includes the price of the drive on which the material is delivered - yours to keep.
Default delivery is via a PC formatted USB drive. If you'd like an eSATA or Mac formatted drive, please specify in the notes section at checkout.
Delivered via a 1TB USB or eSATA external hard drive (you choose), you'll get the complete Apollo Onboard Mission Film (DAC 16mm camera) including:
3 Magazines from AS-202, two monitoring the CM panel and one (rather famous shot used frequently, and erroneously, as a shot from the Saturn V) showing the separation of the S-IV-B from the S-1 stage
2 different views from Apollo 4, of the separation of the S-IC stage from the S-II (again, a rather famous shot)
1 Magazine from Apollo 6, showing the view out the CM window
Plus all of the film from Apollo 7 - 17.
Please Note: This material is full HD, and is nearly 1 TB of data. It is HIGHLY recommended that you back up this material as soon as possible. We will warrant the drive for the same length of time as the manufacturer, protecting your data is up to you. Also note that this material requires adequate horsepower on your computer to play smoothly. It is best to copy the material to a RAID and play from an array.
This material is ready for shipping now. We will create each drive as it is ordered, so please allow up to one week for shipping.
Note also that becuase we have processed, color-corrected and formatted this material, it is protected under copyright, and violation of that copyright will limit our ability to provide this sort of opportunity in the future. We are considering making other items (such as mission television) available in this same way.
